Just a quick blog post this morning of some our favourite images from Debbie and Ola’s night-time preceding session. Thanks to fDan for assisting me on this. Tomorrow, we’ll be heading out into London for their wedding … hope you like these.
Met up with Chinelo of Bibi Invitations a while ago, one thing led to another, and I ended up trying my hand at product photography with their absolutely gorgeous African/Nigerian Inspired wedding invites. I don’t know if theres any other person doing similar stuff out here, but these invites are just awesome … not too sure my images did them justice, you really need to physically see them to appreciate how beautiful they are. Anyway, a little about the company:
Bibi Invitations which officially started operations in June of this year, was founded by Ify Ojo , Omena Babalola both based in Canada, and Chinelo Agazie here in the UK, these ladies are looking to spread the vibrancy of African culture further. According to them, Bibi African wedding invitations is a reflection of our audacious and effervescent African culture and lifestyle: Bold, African inspired wedding invitations, designed just for you in mind.
They offer 3 distinct collections.
Iya Oge Collection: This is their luxury line of African invitations with exquisite die cut and foil stamped cards that draws inspiration from the classic combination of Aso Oke or George Intorica and Swiss lace.
Ifeoma Collection: This boasts of African invitations that are inspired by the mix and match of Ankara prints.
Finally, the deliciously affordable Abena Collection: with its unapologetically bold and vibrant patterns and colours inspired by prints from mud cloth and Akara.
